Working Title: The Workers, Haugar Kunstmuseum, Tønsberg

“Working Title: The Workers” was curated by Erlend Hammer.

This thought-provoking showcase explored the changing role of museums today, questioning the communication strategies that have become the norm in Norwegian museums.

It highlighted a significant shift where institutional power has moved from art experts to leadership and communications departments. They are now more influential in shaping the museum’s public image, than the art expertise the institution was founded to preserve.

Six works from the Christen Sveaas' Art Foundation are featured:
